Our Faith
What We Believe
Our faith is centered on Jesus Christ and grounded in
the truth of God's Word.
01
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is God's Word and is the
authoritative foundation for Christian faith and life.
Scripture reveals God's character, His purposes, and
His saving work through Jesus Christ. We seek to read,
teach, and apply Scripture faithfully.
02
The Triune God
We believe in one God who eternally exists as Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit. God is holy, loving, just,
faithful, and worthy of all worship and glory.
03
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, truly God
and truly human. He lived a sinless life, died for our
sins, was bodily raised from the dead, and is Lord.
Through Him we receive reconciliation with God.
04
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the divine Spirit who
works in the world and in the lives of believers.
He brings conviction, gives new life, indwells
believers, forms Christlike character, and empowers
God's people for faithful service.
05
Humanity and Sin
We believe every human being is created in the image
of God and possesses inherent dignity and worth.
Humanity has nevertheless fallen into sin and needs
God's grace and redemption through Jesus Christ.
06
Salvation
We believe salvation is God's gracious gift.
Forgiveness and reconciliation with God are received
through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation leads to a
transformed life of repentance, faith, obedience,
and growing conformity to Christ.
07
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ and a
community of believers called to worship God,
proclaim the gospel, make disciples, care for one
another, and serve our neighbors in love.
08
Baptism & the Lord's Supper
We believe baptism and the Lord's Supper are
ordinances given by Christ to His Church. They point
believers to the gospel and strengthen the Church's
visible testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
09
The Christian Life
We believe followers of Jesus Christ are called to
live lives of holiness, love, prayer, worship,
discipleship, fellowship, service, and witness.
Christian faith is lived both within the Church and
in service to the wider community.
10
The Return of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ will return according to God's
promise. We look forward to the fulfillment of God's
purposes, the resurrection, final judgment, and the
everlasting reign and glory of God.
Our Commitment
Faith That Shapes Our Life
We desire to be a church whose beliefs are not merely
statements on a page, but truths that shape how we
worship God, love one another, serve our neighbors,
make disciples, and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our goal is to remain faithful to Scripture while
growing together in Christ and serving with love.
